The Wild Woman, is a Jamaican-born creator that sits deeply in all of her intersections, harnessing purpose and using the language of poetry, spirituality, and sensual self-introspection to challenge thoughts and ideals, instigating waves of change. With a career spanning over a decade, The Wild Woman has cultivated a distinctive performing style creatively centering her Blackness, womanity, and artistry for soul-stirring conversations.

Embodying her heart work as Black, woman, and queer, The Wild Woman is an award-winning spoken word artist, poet, author of “This Wild Woman is Speaking” self-published in 2021, educator, and workshop facilitator. She is also an event producer, host, speaker, and curator. Expressing her ingenuity through her language, culture, and untameable spirit for the healing, ascension, and self-pleasure of those around her, The Wild Woman creates new paradigms by honoring her wildness— and in the process, encourages others to be and do the same.

The Wild Woman currently holds positions as the Poetry Curator for The Festival of Literary Diversity (The FOLD), and is a “This Is Brampton” Curator for Flower City Slam.

Rose Shiku is a singer-song writer who specializes in contemporary Rnb infused soul
coupled with sweet harmonies creating a unique flair to it.
Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya the country’s metropolitan she grew up around role
models such as Sauti Sol who created their own sound influencing the local music industry
greatly. In College she developed a keen interest in Theatre and Music, following the lead of
vocal trailblazers from shows such as Hamilton and neo-soul vocalists like India Arie, the
talented songstress began her journey by releasing her first single in 2021.
